Bathroom remodeling on the Shore
I take bathrooms apart and put them back together the right way. Layout, waterproofing, tile, vanity, and the finish. Not a cover kit over the old pan.
I've been doing bathrooms and kitchens for almost 30 years. I've torn out more failed showers than most guys have built, and I know what causes them. The pan, the slope, the waterproofing — that's where it starts, and that's where most people get it wrong. I build that part before I set a single piece.
One job at a time. I don’t bounce to another house until yours is done.
A lot of baths get a new faucet and a new vanity and the wet part stays the way it was. That’s where they fail. If the pan isn’t right, the slope isn’t right, and the walls aren’t waterproofed, the pretty tile doesn’t matter.
I remodel bathrooms in Dorchester, Talbot, and Caroline counties — Cambridge, Easton, St. Michaels, Oxford, Denton, East New Market, Taylors Island, Hoopers Island, Madison, Church Creek, and other surrounding towns.
Clear proposal up front — not a guessy estimate. Price is the price. What’s in it: demo, the pan and waterproofing, tile, vanity, glass if it’s in the scope, and the finish. You pick tile, the vanity, counters, faucets, lighting, and mirrors with our local Shore vendors. I give them the job details first. Walk in, pick what you like, walk out.
If your bath needs a real remodel — not a cover kit — call (443) 521-1388. I will walk the space and send a solid proposal.

Common questions
- Is this a cover kit or a real remodel?
- A real remodel. I take the wet area apart. New pan, waterproofing, slope to the drain, then tile. A cover kit leaves the old problem under a new surface. I don’t do that.
- How do you waterproof a shower?
- The pan and the walls get waterproofed before tile goes on. Slope to the drain. Niches and benches get built into that, not stuck on after. Glass goes in once the opening is ready — not before the wet work is done.
- What’s in the proposal?
- Demo, waterproofing, tile, vanity, and finish. Glass, a layout change, or moving a drain is called out if it’s in the job. Price is the price. Not a guessy estimate.
- Can I stay in the house?
- Yes. It’s one bathroom, and I tell you what’s noisy and what needs dry time. Dust gets controlled. I don’t leave it open and come back next week because I’m at another house.
